How convenient
Buying a new bed can be quite an undertaking. But with Morningstar Sleeps’ free delivery and assembly service, you have nothing to worry about.
It works as follows: as soon as you have placed your order, we will contact you by telephone within 1 to 2 working days to schedule a delivery appointment. We then start manufacturing the parts. On the agreed date, we drive the parts to your home, where we assemble them in the desired space into your new wooden bed. After your final approval, we make sure we leave no trace, so you can take a refreshing power nap right away. Sleep well!
For a heavenly night's sleep
Not only the material, but also the design of our bed offers you the rest you need. For example, the legs are deliberately placed slightly inwards, so that the bed seems to float in space. Because the frame allows a lot of open space at the bottom, your mattress ventilates in the best possible way. Dust is also less likely to collect under the bed. If that does happen, then vacuuming is a piece of cake.
That can take a beating
Our wooden beams are selected with great care. We allow small irregularities in the wood, but we exclude major imperfections. The result is a wooden bed full of character. Rustic and authentic.
To make the wood resistant to the average indoor climate, we artificially dry the 4 centimeter thick beams to a moisture content of 8 to 12 percent. The beams are then sanded and nicely rounded. Finally, the matte coating creates a subtle effect, without suppressing the natural character of the wood.
The production of the steel elements of the bed takes place using automated laser machines. An efficient and cost-reducing process, as the elements are cut to an accuracy of one tenth of a millimetre.
Want to know more about this process? For the steel supporting construction of the bed, we use the very solid S235 structural steel, which is also common in bridges, machines and high buildings, for example. A large plate of this material is very accurately cut into several parts in the laser machine, with hardly any waste. The steel is then deburred and bent into the desired model. A powder coating in a fine structure ultimately provides a matt and sleek result that perfectly complements the rustic wood of the bed.
