For a heavenly night's sleep
Want to experience a heavenly night’s sleep? This is possible with the wooden bed from Morningstar Sleeps. It floats in space. Not really, of course, but with our unique lower frame it comes pretty close. The legs are placed slightly inwards, so that they cannot be seen with the naked eye. Thanks to the smart lower frame, the mattress also has enough space to air out, and dust hardly gets the chance to collect under the bed.
That can take a beating
Rustic oak is a popular type of wood because of its natural and authentic appearance. Our wooden beams are carefully selected, preserving small imperfections, but excluding major imperfections. The result is a balanced whole in which character predominates, without certain parts being too coarse.
Our beams are no less than 4 centimeters thick and of the highest quality. The wood is artificially dried to a moisture content of 8 to 12 percent, making it resistant to the average indoor climate. The wood is then sanded and the sharp edges are neatly rounded. For a refined final look and a bit of extra protection, the wood has been given a matte varnish.
The steel supporting structure is made possible by fully automated laser machines. The 3 millimeter thick sheet metal can thus be integrated into the bed at a favorable price.
Curious about how this works? First of all, a plate of the indestructible S235 structural steel is cut in one of our laser machines. This is done very precisely, so that waste is kept to a minimum and therefore the environment is not harmed. The resulting steel parts are then deburred and shaped into their final shape. The steel is then provided with a black powder coating with a fine structure. This ensures a sleek end result that matches perfectly with the rustic wood.

At first glance, wood seems to be primarily a practical material: it is versatile, sturdy and long-lasting. Quality down to the last detail
To get the most out of the design of our bed, we have finished the materials with great precision. After the wood has been sanded and the sharp parts have been rounded off, the beams are perfected with a matt lacquer. The steel is also given a matt finish by means of a fine-textured powder coating. This way the bed exudes even more quality and the materials complement each other completely. The result is a special contrast between domestic and industrial.

If you opt for modern, then you opt for luxury. In this style, sleek furniture is combined with calm but contrasting colors (think white with black or dark grey), to give the space class. If the bed is in direct sunlight, it will discolour much faster. Even if the bed is not in direct sunlight, it should be treated regularly. The guarantee does not apply to external details of the bed. The bed is made from a natural product and will therefore differ slightly from the example.
