What makes the Morningstar Sleeps bed special is its unique design that makes it seem to float in space. The legs are placed slightly inwards, so that they are not visible from the outside. This not only creates a spacious and therefore calm effect in the bedroom, but is also very practical. Vacuuming under the bed is now a breeze. Even more important: your mattress ventilates optimally on this bed.
That can take a beating
At Morningstar Sleeps, we like authenticity. That is why the wooden beams of the bed have been carefully selected. Too coarse is not beautiful, so we have ruled out major imperfections, but small imperfect details provide the rustic look that we like to see in our bed.
The wooden beams, which are no less than 4 centimeters thick, have been artificially dried, making them ideal for use in the average indoor climate. For a refined effect, the material is sanded and provided with a matt lacquer, which also protects the bed against dirt and moisture. The sharp edges of the wood are neatly rounded.
The steel components of the bed are cut by fully automated machines. Thanks to this efficient process, we can integrate the 3 millimeter thick sheet metal into the bed at a favorable price.
Want to know how it works? A plate of the S235 structural steel is cut to a tenth of a millimeter in the laser machine into several separate beams. Because this process is so meticulous, hardly any waste is lost. The steel components are then deburred and folded into the desired shape. A matt fine-textured powder coating gives the steel construction of the bed a tough and sleek look.
