During this conversation, the delivery time is determined, after which we immediately get to work to prepare your bed. Do you want to float to dreamland from now on? Our wooden bed has a unique design where the legs are placed slightly inwards. In this way, the bed still stands firmly on the floor, but at the same time gives the impression that it is floating in space. This way your mattress ventilates optimally and vacuuming under the bed is now a breeze.
That can take a beating
Rustic oak wood looks authentic and atmospheric, and that is what we strive for in our wooden beds. Our wooden beams are selected in such a way that small color differences, knots and grains are deliberately retained, but major irregularities are avoided. A characteristic wooden bed is the result, without drawing too much attention to specific points.
The wooden beams are kiln dried to a moisture content of 8 to 12 percent, ideal for the average bedroom climate. The matt coating also ensures that the wood can withstand moisture and dirt and that the material looks subtle and refined. For that reason, the sharp edges of the bed are also neatly rounded.
An efficient and automated cutting process makes it possible to implement the indestructible S235 structural steel in our beds without having to charge a lot for it.
Know how to? A large sheet of structural steel is cut by the laser machine into several small parts, which together form the supporting structure of the bed. This cutting process is very accurate; down to one tenth of a millimetre. As a result, hardly any waste is generated. After the steel beams have been deburred and folded into their final shape, they are given their matt finish thanks to a fine-textured powder coating. A charming addition to the rustic character of the wooden beams.
