Always boss over boss of course, the king is above the queen, so the very largest bed is called a king size bed. In America, both terms are very common, while in the UK and Ireland, a queen-size bed is also simply called a king-size bed. Handy if you see a nice duvet cover there and converting from inches to centimeters is too much of a hassle for you. By the way, it could very well be that you already have a queen-size bed but had labeled it as just a double bed. Because fair’s fair, nice and roomy it is. The length of a queen size bed frame can also vary a little from the standard, but the most common is two meters. The width of the queen size bed frame is 160 centimeters. The original dimensions of a queen-size bed are 80 inches long and 60 inches wide. Converted to centimeters, that works out to a length of 203 centimeters and a width of 152 centimeters. Dutch beds have a length of 190, 200, 210 or 220 centimeters, so a queen-size bed too. Although we give up a few centimeters on the American size on the length, we do not do so on the width. That is because it is 160 centimeters.
